Hopdoddy’s burger bar at The Rim shopping center is one of two in San Antonio, situated on the northeast side of I-10 and E Charles William Anderson Loop. Conveniently located right next to Santikos Palladium and near Target, Bass Pro Shops, and more, Hopdoddy is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat whether you’re running errands or about to catch a movie.
More than convenience, our burger restaurant is a destination. We pride ourselves on our selection of mouth-watering burgers, crave-able hand-cut fries, and a full bar.

Looking for happy hour in San Antonio? Hopdoddy hosts the happiest of them all with 1/2 off cocktails, beer & wine. Stop in Monday through Thursday from 3-6PM to whet your whistle after work or before you shop. Feeling peckish? Try Sliders at Happy Hour. Or snack on a pile of Hot Honey & Sage Loaded Brussels—or order up a shareable plate of our famed Parmesan Truffle Fries to learn what Heaven tastes like.
Burgers + More
Don’t just take our word for it. Thrillist agrees: Hopdoddy serves up some of the best burgers in San Antonio. While our burgers are known for the baked in-house buns and our patties are made with ethically sourced, all-natural meats, we also strive for unique, mouth-watering recipes. If you’re a food adventurist, try the Double Bacon Jam which features Two American Cheeses, Tomato Bacon Jam, Mustard Grilled Onions, and Pickled Mayo. If you’re a burger traditionalist, on the other hand, keep things simple with our Classic Burger with cheese. We also offer a made in house veggie patty for burger-loving vegetarians, the El Bandito! Another crowd-pleaser is our hand-cut fries with decadent sauces and delicious toppings like green chile queso and truffle aioli. Don't skip on the frozen margaritas either, whether you want a little sipper like Lil Larry or the fan favorite Big House Marg or something from the local tap line-up, your Hopdoddy bartender will delight.
Proximity to Airport
Near our Vineyard restaurant, our location at The Rim is on the northern edge of the city, about a 20-minute drive (or 12 miles) from San Antonio International Airport (SAT).
Nearby Attractions
Being in a shopping center has its advantages, such as plenty of places to look for everything from clothes to pet supplies. If shopping isn’t your speed, there’s also bowling right behind our building. More activities nearby include Andretti Indoor Karting, indoor skydiving at iFly, and more, but there’s also plenty to do outside. Crownridge Canyon Park and the Palmer Golf Course are both just a few miles west of us. For those visiting UT San Antonio, that’s only a couple miles away as well, so it’s easy to stop by for burgers for lunch or dinner. Looking for a full day of fun and excitement for all ages? Six Flags Fiesta Texas and their roller coasters and water park (for those hot summer days) are less than a mile down the road.
Parking
Because we are located in The Rim shopping center, there is plenty of parking in front of the burger bar, accessible from Frontage Rd, La Cantera Pkwy, and by following Vance Jackson Rd.
