Restaurant Info
The Rim is northwest San Antonio's biggest draw — shopping, dining, entertainment, and Six Flags Fiesta Texas all within a few minutes of each other, right off I-10 and Loop 1604. Hopdoddy is on La Cantera Parkway in the heart of it, next to Santikos Palladium and minutes from La Cantera, Bass Pro Shops, iFly, Andretti Indoor Karting, and UTSA. Whether you're catching a movie, burning a day at Fiesta Texas, shopping the Rim and La Cantera corridor, or heading home after class, we're right where you need us. Everything here is made the way it should be — buns baked in-house, fries hand-cut from Chipperbec potatoes, and a full bar with hand-shaken margaritas, craft cocktails, local drafts, and boozy milkshakes. The northwest side has a lot of places to eat — chain spots, drive-thrus, the usual. We're the burger bar where the burger gets its own tray. Come for lunch between errands, stay for happy hour after work, or fuel up before a night at Fiesta Texas.
Happy Hour:M-F, 3-6PM
Happy Hour:
M-Th, 3-6pm
Looking for happy hour in San Antonio? Hopdoddy hosts the happiest of them all with 1/2 off cocktails, beer & wine. Stop in Monday through Thursday from 3-6PM to whet your whistle after work or before you shop. Snack on some sliders, crispy chicken tenders and of course a few sharable bowls of fries like the Green Chile Queso or Hot Honey Sweet Potato Fries.

Burgers + More
Don’t just take our word for it. Thrillist agrees: Hopdoddy serves up some of the best burgers in San Antonio. It's a lineup you won't find anywhere else - from the rich, buttery Wagyu Smash to the sushi-inspired Ahi Tuna burger to the fiery Nashville Hot Fried Chicken. With Angus beef, bison, tuna, and chicken on the menu, we think about burgers differently so you don't have to settle for the same old thing. Our signature fries are hand-cut fresh every day and served in big shareable bowls with a rotating lineup of flavors like Parmesan Truffle, Green Chile Queso, and Hot Honey. Not a fry person? Try our loaded crispy brussels sprouts. Unlike your typical burger spot, every Hopdoddy has a full bar with hand-shaken margaritas, craft cocktails, local beer on tap, and boozy milkshakes.
Proximity to Airport
Near our Vineyard restaurant, our location at The Rim is on the northern edge of the city, about a 20-minute drive (or 12 miles) from San Antonio International Airport (SAT).
Nearby Attractions
Being in a shopping center has its advantages, such as plenty of places to look for everything from clothes to pet supplies. If shopping isn’t your speed, there’s also bowling right behind our building. More activities nearby include Andretti Indoor Karting, indoor skydiving at iFly, and more, but there’s also plenty to do outside. Crownridge Canyon Park and the Palmer Golf Course are both just a few miles west of us. For those visiting UT San Antonio, that’s only a couple miles away as well, so it’s easy to stop by for burgers for lunch or dinner. Looking for a full day of fun and excitement for all ages? Six Flags Fiesta Texas and their roller coasters and water park (for those hot summer days) are less than a mile down the road.
Parking
Because we are located in The Rim shopping center, there is plenty of parking in front of the burger bar, accessible from Frontage Rd, La Cantera Pkwy, and by following Vance Jackson Rd.
