We've been on Scottsdale Road since 2013, which makes this one of the longest-running Hopdoddys outside of Texas — and there's a reason it's stuck. We're on the corner of Scottsdale Road and Mescal, just north of Shea Boulevard and about three miles south of Scottsdale Airport. If you're flying private into SDL, we're a seven-minute drive from the tarmac. Coming from Sky Harbor? We're a straight shot up Scottsdale Road, about 20 minutes north. Either way, we're easy to get to from Paradise Valley, Gainey Ranch, Kierland, the Scottsdale Airpark, and Old Town. This part of Scottsdale is surrounded by world-class golf, resorts, and more dining options than anyone needs — but we hold our own. Everything is made from scratch: buns baked in-house, fries hand-cut daily, and a full bar pouring hand-shaken margaritas, craft cocktails, Arizona drafts, and boozy shakes. That full bar is the thing most people don't expect from a burger spot, and it's the reason happy hour here hits different. Whether you're refueling after a round at TPC or Grayhawk, killing time before Barrett-Jackson, or just need a weeknight spot that doesn't require a reservation, this is it.

All Hopdoddy burgers are made fresh every day. We’re dedicated to serving you the best handmade burgers made only from the freshest ingredients. Our burgers are made with ethically sourced, all-natural meats, sushi-grade ahi tuna, and a signature spiced grain and veggie patty for those with vegetarian lifestyles. Our fries are cut in-house each day ensuring everything from your burgers to your fries are fresh and made just for you when you order it. Enjoy the Classic Cheese Burger if you’re looking for something timeless. If you’re looking for something a little bit more exciting, try our Magic Shroom burger made with goat cheese, mushrooms, mayo, and basil pesto. Our signature fries are hand-cut fresh every day and served in big shareable bowls with a rotating lineup of flavors like Parmesan Truffle, Green Chile Queso, and Hot Honey. Not a fry person? Try our loaded crispy brussels sprouts — they might steal the show.
Proximity to Airport
We are located on the corner of N Scottsdale Rd. and E Mescal St., just three miles, or a seven minute drive, south of the Scottsdale Airport (SCF) for anyone arriving and needing some quick food before heading home. And we're about 20 minutes from Sky Harbor (PHX). Easy to reach from either one.
Nearby Attractions
Just around the block from us is the Starfire Golf Club. If you’re looking for a little less competition (or more, depending who you’re with), Glow Putt Mini Golf is less than two miles past that. If you’re looking for a little more adventure, a five minute drive north will lead you to DukOUT Adventure Brokers where you can take a Jeep tour, bike around the area, do a wine tasting, and more. To relax afterwards there are plenty of small parks in the area from Sereno Park northwest of us, to Mountain View Park southeast. Whatever your interests or mood, you can always find something to do in the area!
Parking
A convenient parking lot for our burger bar can be accessed from both E Mescal St. (from N 74th St) as well as N Scottsdale Rd.
