Hopdoddy’s roots are in Austin, and has long time been a local favorite. Thrillest and Austin Food Magazine, among others, have named Hopdoddy Burger Bar as one of the best spots serving burgers in Austin for multiple years. Our East Austin location is one of our newest, as we continue to expand our service throughout our favorite city. Our burger bars embody the classic Austin vibe: cutting edge, friendly to all, and keeping it weird. And no other area of the city represents this more than East Austin, with its Instagram-worthy murals, eclectic shops, long-standing music venues, and local restaurants.

Looking for the best happy hour on the east side? Hopdoddy hosts the happiest of them all with 1/2 off cocktails, beer & wine Monday through Thursday from 3-6PM. Our new sliders are the perfect after work snack. And of course we have bowls & bowls of sharable fries - from Loaded Nacho to Parmesan Truffle to Hot Honey Sweet Potato Fries. Or try the new loaded crispy brussel leaves.

It all starts with our baked in-house buns and patties made with ethically sourced, all-natural meats. If you’re looking for a veggie option, check out the El Bandito Veggie - made with a corn and black bean patty! All of this is tied together with unique, savory toppings with everyone’s unique taste buds in mind. Whether you fancy yourself a traditionalist (you’ll love our Classic Burger with cheese) or an adventurer (check out the Cadillac), our menu is sure to satisfy your particular burger cravings. We’d be remiss if we didn’t take a moment to mention our hand-cut fries, which are served up with decadent sauces. Here’s to you, green chile queso and truffle aioli.

Proximity to Airport
There are a few ways to get to the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) from our East Austin burger bar. Each direction involves an 8-10 mile route, but we recommend choosing your path based on the time of day, as I-35 can become heavily congested during peak travel hours. Without traffic, it’s about a 15-minute drive.
Nearby Attractions
East Austin is one of the fastest-growing areas in the city and is best known for its local dining and bar scene. Many attractions near Hopdoddy at Plaza Saltillo are extremely walkable. The 6th street bar scene, for instance, is only a block away. Or if you’re looking for a convenient spot to grab a bite while running errands, we’re located right next to Target and Whole Foods.
Parking
There’s plenty of metered street parking within walking distance of Hopdoddy at Plaza Saltillo, which you can pay either at a pay station or via the Park ATX mobile app. Street parking is free of charge on Sundays.
