Just 10 minutes north of LAX, Hopdoddy Burger Bar is located at the Runway shopping center in Playa Vista. A Westside neighborhood in LA, Playa Vista is a tech hub (Silicon Beach) known for its open space, recreation, shopping, and dining. Whether you’re visiting to attend a concert in the Park, work nearby, or live in the area, Hopdoddy is proud to serve the best burgers in Playa Vista and Los Angeles.

Looking for the best happy hour? Hopdoddy hosts the happiest of them all with 1/2 off cocktails, beer & wine Monday through Thursday from 3-6PM. Feeling peckish? Our sliders are the perfect after work snack. And of course we have bowls & bowls of sharable fries - from Parmesan Truffle to Hot Honey Sweet Potato Fries.

At Hopdoddy, we take burgers very seriously, which is why we use only the highest-quality ingredients. From our fan-favorite Wagyu Smash and Double Bacon Jam to bold builds like the El Diablo and our Ahi Tuna burger inspired by a sushi roll, every burger on our menu is handcrafted and cooked to order. With proteins ranging from classic Angus beef to bison, ahi tuna, crispy fried chicken or our signature plant-based veggie patty, there's a burger for every craving. Burgers perfect side is our hand-cut fries like our Parm Truffle Fries or try the loaded crispy brussels. Unlike your typical burger spot, every Hopdoddy has a full bar — hand-shaken margaritas, craft cocktails, local beer on tap, and boozy milkshakes.
Proximity to Airport
Our Playa Vista location is a 10-minute (4 miles) drive north from LAX along Lincoln Blvd, so anyone coming into town or leaving can grab burgers, fries, or a beer on their way.
Nearby Attractions
There are a few pieces of public art around the block we are located in, including a 60-foot tall lantern-shaped tower covered in chain mail, a vibrant 2-section acrylic mural, and a 45-foot tall spray paint mural of hands holding a paper airplane. Just one mile up the road from us is Central Park, a great way to enjoy the weather and either relax or play soccer, basketball, volleyball, and more. For those visiting Loyola Marymount University, we’re less than half a mile north for a quick lunch or dinner. Also nearby is the Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve that ranges from ocean and sand dunes to rivers and marshes, and is home to a multitude of birds, reptiles, mammals, and plants.
Parking
We have limited parking outside our restaurant that is accessible from Runway Rd, with more available in the parking garage further down Runway Rd or off of West Jefferson Blvd.
