This area, having been founded in 1886, is steeped in history and home to a fantastic collection of well-preserved Victorian architecture. There’s also an abundance of unique shopping experiences and activities available. Of course, last but not least, one of our Hopdoddy locations is located in Houston Heights as well. Happy Hour:
M-Th, 3-6pm
Looking for the best happy hour in Houston? Hopdoddy hosts the happiest of them all with 1/2 off cocktails, beer & wine Monday through Thursday from 3-6PM. Our sliders are the perfect after work snack. And of course we have bowls & bowls of sharable fries - from Parmesan Truffle to Hot Honey Sweet Potato Fries.

Burgers + More
From our fan-favorite Wagyu Smash and Double Bacon Jam to bold builds like the El Diablo and our Ahi Tuna burger inspired by a sushi roll, every burger on our menu is handcrafted and cooked to order. With proteins ranging from classic Angus beef to bison, ahi tuna, and crispy fried chicken, there's a burger for every craving. Our signature fries are hand-cut fresh every day and served in big shareable bowls with a rotating lineup of flavors like Parmesan Truffle, Green Chile Queso, and Hot Honey. Not a fry person? Try our loaded crispy brussels sprouts — they might steal the show. And we take our bar as seriously as our burgers. Hand-shaken margaritas, rotating local craft beers, craft cocktails, and hand-spun boozy shakes you won't find anywhere else.
Proximity to Airport
The Houston Height’s Hopdoddy Burger Bar is slightly closer to the George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) than the William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), but they can take relatively the same time to get to by car. To get to IAH from Hopdoddy, you can take the Hardy Toll Rd or I-69, and expect a 25 to 30-minute car ride. Hobby, on the other hand, takes about the same time, via I-45 S, but forces you to drive through downtown, so can take slightly longer due to traffic.
Nearby Attractions
Houston Heights has great family-friendly activities with outdoor hotspots like the Heights Hike and Bike Trail and the White Oak Bayou Trail. Houstonians also enjoy the mom-and-pop shops and boutiques in Houston Heights. Thrift stores, antique shops, and cafes are popular in the area. The first Saturday of each month, called “First Saturday Arts Market” is a perfect event for fans of live music, crafts, plants, and great artwork.
Parking
The large, free parking lot next to our Houston Height’s location makes parking at Hopdoddy Burger Bar a breeze. Simply find a spot and come on in, hassle-free.
