Hopdoddy sits right at the Burnet and Anderson intersection, in the middle of one of Austin's best stretches for local restaurants, craft breweries, and neighborhood bars. We're minutes from Northcross Mall, the Alamo Drafthouse Village, and the vintage shops and taquerias that make this part of town feel like it's been here forever. If you're coming from Allandale, Crestview, Brentwood, or North Shoal Creek, we're already on your route. If you're cutting across from the Domain or heading south toward campus, Anderson and Burnet is the crossroads. Everything here is made the way it should be - buns baked in-house, patties ground fresh, fries hand-cut from Chipperbec potatoes, and a full bar with hand-shaken margaritas, craft cocktails, local drafts, and boozy milkshakes. This is the neighborhood where Hopdoddy grew up, and we still make everything like we did when we started, by hand, every single day.

Looking for the best happy hour in north Austin? Hopdoddy hosts the happiest of them all with 1/2 off cocktails, beer & wine Monday through Thursday from 3-6PM. Our sliders & crispy chicken tenders are the perfect after work snack. And grab some bowls of sharable fries for the table.

With proteins ranging from classic Angus beef to bison, ahi tuna, and crispy fried chicken, there's a burger for every craving. Our signature fries are hand-cut fresh every day and served in big shareable bowls with a rotating lineup of flavors like Parmesan Truffle, Green Chile Queso, and Hot Honey. Not a fry person? Try our loaded crispy brussels sprouts, they might steal the show. Cold beer, hand-shaken margs, craft cocktails, and spiked milkshakes - we're a burger bar with a real bar. Proximity to Airport
The Anderson burger bar location is on the other side of town from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), about 14 miles (or a 22-minute drive).
Nearby Attractions
Our location being in a plaza means plenty of shopping opportunities for anyone and everyone. But if that’s not your speed, there are a ton of activities for anyone, regardless of age, to enjoy in the area. For instance, try indoor go-karting at K1 Speed about seven minutes north of our location. If you like solving mysteries or puzzles, there’s an escape room center just down the road from us. Kids can also check out the Toybrary (toy library) five minutes south! If you want to enjoy the weather, there are a ton of small parks around the area, from Quail Creek Neighborhood Park to the northeast to Allen Park southwest of us.
Parking
There is a large parking lot for West Anderson Plaza, off of W Anderson Ln., for convenient and easy parking right in front of the burger bar.
